I am an independently licensed clinical social worker and have been practicing social work in some form for over 10 years. I have experience working with people with many different life stressors including; Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, domestic violence and sexual assault. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and am well practiced in trauma related disorder​s. I use evidenced based approaches that are best suited for each individual client. People are unique and sometimes approaches change as the perspective changes. I tend to practice therapy in a warm, genuine client centered approach. I believe in exploring the whole person and all aspects of their lives, past, present and future. I have recently become certified in reiki and am learning how incredibly powerful reiki and mental health therapy combined can be.
